TEXA IDC6 Car 2026.09 Update: VISION CHECK START, AI Global Search and New Models

Oct 23, 2026 | Automotive Diagnostics, Software & IDC6 Updates

TEXA released the IDC6 Car 2026.09 software update in September 2026. It brings IDC6 support for the new VISION CHECK START ADAS calibration unit, further development of TEXA AI Global Search, new dashboards, and new diagnostic systems across 34 car brands plus 3 supercar brands. Here is what 2026.09 adds for repair shops.

VISION CHECK START support for ADAS calibration

Starting with Car 2026.09, IDC6 supports the VISION CHECK START unit, the new product in the TEXA ADAS line. According to the release notes, automated vertical adjustment helps the technician position the unit, reducing setup time and giving millimetre precision. IDC6 can launch the guided calibration and give step-by-step instructions on both the supplied 75 inch monitor and the diagnostic display. TEXA states compatibility with over 65 makes and multiple models, using a range of accessories and 1:1 digital panels. TEXA has more detail on the VISION CHECK range.

The update also adds a new ADAS sheets display for VISION CHECK START. It gives positioning instructions such as panel height, vehicle distance and alignment, so the unit is set up correctly for each vehicle. For more on how we approach ADAS, see our post on free ADAS training with the RCCS3.

AI Global Search

Car 2026.09 further develops TEXA’s AI features, in particular AI Global Search. In addition to the TEXA database, which TEXA says covers more than thirty years, AI Global Search now also brings in content from the databases and other TEX@INFO services you have active. You can ask questions in writing or verbally, and it returns answers with links, sources and explanatory images where needed.

New dashboards

TEXA added new TGS3 dashboards for Hyundai vehicles and new parameter dashboards.
