What it means
The ABS module flags the LR wheel-speed signal as out of range/implausible relative to vehicle dynamics and other wheels. Often follows an intermittent or low-amplitude sensor signal. Crypton+1

Common causes
- LR sensor weak/contaminated; excessive gap.
- Encoder/tone-ring damage in the hub.
- Harness chafe/corrosion at the LR knuckle or rear body pass-through. Auto Veteran
Diagnostic notes / fixes
- Use live data and (ideally) a scope to confirm signal quality; inspect encoder ring and sensor seating.
- Clean/reseat or replace sensor; repair harness; replace hub if encoder is compromised. Auto Veteran
